Endless Things To Do!
-
If you're a "jet boater" were 8 miles to Pittsburg Landing on the Snake River, and 9.5 miles to the Salmon River, both have launch ramps to accommodate almost any size boat.
-
If side by sides are your passion, then this will be heaven! We border the National Forrest and are mere moments away from hundreds if not thousands of miles of forested trails that definitely need exploring!
-
Mountain Bikes, YEP! Lots of quiet both technical and beginner trails for your delight. Being a old guy, I prefer the “newfangled” (LOL) Electric Bikes, but bring your best and enjoy!
-
Hiking. The local mountains are full of trails, and wildlife for your enjoyment. Some very unique to the area, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Elk and Deer, Turkeys, Grouse, Quail, Chukars, Bobcats, whatever you can sneak up on!
-
The mountains are full of surprises! If you’re a mushroom hunter, come in the spring, the mountains have a host of edible mushrooms, my favorite being the Morel Mushroom. If Huckleberries or Blackberries are of interest, August and September are the months, find your patch and reap the rewards!
-
If clear air and star gazing is of interest, the nights here are amazing!
